During prehistoric times, there was a lot of detached stonewares that were used for hunting animals.
But the farming became common so the detached stonewares were droppen into oblivion by people.
There was a lot of wars so people needed mighty weapons.
So they made a lot of swords, but the swords were droppen into oblivion too because of the more mighty weapons.
People made carriage for their transportation but we don't use it anymore because of more faster and safety transportations.

Regarding the situation that we have today, which is the pandemic, I think there are a lot of things we used to do before that we can't right now. COVID-19 has affected our lifestyles crucially. Everyday things we miss, took for granted and can't wait to have back. Whether it's going for a cup of coffee, taking a stroll and sparking up conversations with a friendly dog owner or enjoying a meal with friends, even mundane moments of once daily routines feel like a luxury people are already eager to have back.

PS: Your answer is really interesting because it involves a lot of facts about history. Keep it up! ^^
