Korean people still adhere to their traditions when it comes to main dishes in their food culture.
Korean people cannot stand it without eating rice, kimchi, and various soups at least once.
Koreans must take kimchi and red pepper paste with them when traveling abroad, and even Koreans who have immigrated to other countries for decades still stick to rice, kimchi, and soup.
However, in Korea, sweets have already become Westernized.
Therefore, not only young Koreans but also older Koreans like various sweets from the West.
Cakes, pancakes, cupcakes, croissants, pies, waffles, etc.
However, Korea's traditional sweets are still popular.
Koreans enjoy eating Rice cakes, Snacks made by mixing honey and flour, Pumpkin taffy made from pumpkin, SIKHYE, a sweet drink made from barley and rice, and SUJEONGGWA, a drink made by mixing ginger, cinnamon, and honey.
Korea's traditional sweets are especially popular among foreigners traveling to Korea.
