I show my appreciation towards people who are kind or helpful to me in two ways.
First, indirect expression of appreciation.
If I show my gratitude directly, there are people who are burdened, so I don't say it directly, but show my heart indirectly.
For example, they do their hard work for them or take their requests first.
Second, it's a direct expression of appreciation, as opposed to the first way.
If I show my gratitude indirectly, I show my feelings directly because there are people who don't know well.
For example, I can say thank you and write a note directly of write a letter and deliver it to them with a gift that is not burdensome.
Hi!
Thank you for sharing your answer. You did well in expressing yourself.
I can totally relate to your answer as well about being direct or indirect depending on the situation or person. ^^
