I think that our housing market is often fluctuating, so many wealthy foreigners want to buy properties to gain profits. Of course some buy their own houses for themselves to live in. But, wealthy Chinese people buy some properties and sell them to make money. It's a kind of speculative investment. That's why our new government is considering a new regulatory policies of foreigners' real estate acquisition.

I also think that the Korean government should reconsider allowing foreigners to buy properties in Korea. Just to share with you, in the Philippines, the government doesn't allow outright ownership of real property by foreign nationals, and there are restrictions. I think this is fair so that, in a way, there will still be land for locals or Filipino citizens.
