Q : Do you think texting leads to misunderstandings more than phone calls? Why or why not? A : Yes, I do. Since texting does not contain feelings, misunderstandings can be occurred. To prevent misunderstandings, I usually use emoticons and laugh effects like "haha". But phone calls can make misunderstandings also if I misunderstand words that pronunciation is similar. So, I always ask back if i don`t understand the words.

Hi Eddy,
Thank you for taking the time to answer this essay. :)
I also use a lot of emoticons to better express my feelings through text messages.
And you're right, misunderstandings can happen either way. All we can do is try to prevent them.
Thank you again for your time tonight. Enjoy the rest of your evening! :)
