How do you find a balance between a busy life and having free time?

For me it is challenging to strike a work and life balance. This is because I tried to give 200% to everyone and I do not have a hobby. However, as I have been working for nearly 5 years, I am starting to get know-how of making a good balance. First, I try to use my spare time. During busy times, I work 7 days and 100 hours per week, and it is extremely difficult for me to take a good rest. Therefore, I use my spare time to sleep and do hobbies to revitalize myself. Secondly, I try to share my schedule with management. Previously I thought managers track my workload and acknowledge my achievement. However, I learned from my previous experiences that they do so I need to share it with my manager for their acknowledgement and my free time. When I was in Paris, I worked more than 120 hours per week, and my manager was in London. Since I shared my workload it was easy to ask for a vacation afterward.
