Well, My hometown is called "의정부(Uijeongbu)". And I think that a discussion about the origin of its name is quite memorable. Some say that it is influenced by the Uijeongbu, the top government council, because my hometown is located in north of Seoul. Thus, many officials or soldiers stayed and trained here. However, Other say it has something to do with its Chinese characters. Historians are not sure which is correct.
