In my opinion, the most scary thing about robots is that they may replace human beings and reduce human workforce. As robots are much more productive than humans, a lot of companies will try to use robots instead of humans. A lot of people who work in the manufacturing industry may lose jobs. This kind of social problem may cause more severe social class polarization, which increases the gap between the poor and the rich. Only those people who invent robots or research about artificial intelligence may maintain their jobs and other simple work forces will soon be replaced. Furthermore, if human beings lose control of the robots, it will definitely cause problems. As seen in the movies or books, they may harm human beings and do whatever they want. The world ruled by robots will be devastated quickly and a lot of human beings may lose their life's purpose.
