The planning is to consider possible factors in advance and collect opinions from various stakeholders to make optimal policies or decisions. The main areas of work conducted in the Korea National Railway Authority (Afterward, KR) for about 15 years have included reviewing the national railway master plan at the government level, devising basic plans and feasibility studies for individual railway projects, and preliminary feasibility studies. Through this task, I learned practical field experiences in economic analysis, transportation engineering, decision-making methodologies, etc.
