Q: How has the industry you work in been affected by the pandemic?

I think that manufacturing industries like petroleum or semiconductor don’t be affected by the pandemic. Because products which are produced by those industries are used many area. And petroleum industries using crude oil to make product are in a prosperous condition. Because of corona virus, delivery services have been booming and plastics have been used many times or areas.

And semiconductor industries didn’t be depressed. Because semiconductor are used many laptops, smartphone even electrical car. Actually iphone’s new series and galaxy S21 came out last year and electrical car market are developing.

As a result I think that two industries are more growing up in the future despite corona virus.
And I want to be a chemical engineer that can contribute to this growth.
