The objective for my students in classes is very obvious.
It's the understanding of what we learn the major.
I always say to students, "we don't need to remember equations or theory, but we have to remember where we can find the solution when we have an engineering problem".
I have an exact objective for me as a teacher, creating interests in students' minds, introducing the theoretical backgrounds and practical applications.
Sometimes it is very difficult to achieve in very theoretical classes such as dynamics and mathematics.
My major is Chemical engineering, so I often explain things that we can not see.
For example, an inner fluid flow inside of a pipe or many unfamiliar engineering processes.
Fortunately, we can find many examples and visual materials on the internet.
So, I actively use Youtube videos or pictures in my classes.
And, sometimes, when it seems unachievable, I try to make them feel I understand even if they aren't perfect.
That at least keeps their major and passion.
