Most Korean is educated to American accent from when their were young. So I prefer to learn American accent.
In other hand, British accent was difficult to learn and not to familiar to Korean people in the past. Many Korean may feel awkward British accent. Recently, British movies and dramas are getting popular in Korea like Sherlock and many people can get source about British accent easier through the internet. So many Koreans studies British accent these day.
