My advice would be to research thoroughly before doing job-hunting. There is a considerable gap between imagination and actual life. I saw many friends suffer from these gaps and eventually quit with the mass confusion. These friends still have a problem searching for the next job because the job was their goal from the beginning. There were no other options for them. Considering pros and cons would be essential before entering a professional environment to avoid disappointment. It is tough to do in the companies' information session because they tend to show the good side. Therefore, utilizing alumni working in a particular field would be crucial to provide accurate job viewpoints.
