How important is learning about space?

I think it isn't only learning about the space, we also have to explore the space.
Because we should prepare enviornmental pollution. Very nicely, space exploration is the solution.
We can find new sources of fuels and minerals, even 'the second Earth' in the space.
And it has many reasons for learning and exploring the spae.
