Foreigners who have been to Korea said that how convenience the public transportation is from the subway to the bus system. Our government have tried to find a effective way to solve the traffic congestion in metropolitan area. The main solution is building the express train from cities near capital city to Seoul. Another way is constructing road on the ground. The population in Seoul is 1/5 of total population. It cause a lot of social problem including traffic jam. My city mayor implemented the campaign which called "Self Carfree day" that people can't drive their car on designated day according to their car number plate. It is effective campaign but people still want to use their car when they commute and take a trip even if the public transportation is convenient. In addition, more and more people have their car more than one even if public servants encourage people not to use their own car. I also believe that the transportation system is the best but people don't like to use it
