Would you rather give money to beggars or buskers? (Buskers are people who entertain you on the street for money, e.g. musicians, dancers etc.)

When I was young, I gave some small money to beggars or buskers sometimes. However, when I lived in the Philippines, I had an unhappy experience regarding this. At that time, I gave some money to a beggar who was looked around 10 years old on the street, and after that, suddenly many children surrounded me and try to put their hand into my pocket. I was scared at that time, so went away after taking a taxi immediately. After that happened, I don't rather give money to beggars on the street.

With more people suffering from homelessness, the general public may feel they wish to give cash to those sleeping rough. But some people say that handing over money to beggars "can have fatal consequences".

In terms of buskers, these are entertainers. They are pretty much the same with other entertainers you see on television. If one has entertained you, you can definitely give them money if you can. They did something that can benefit you, which is to entertain you.
