Korean is shorter than other languages.
Korean's one letter is that some consonants and vowels gather.
So I'm not sure It is easy to learn.
It hardly have strong official intonation like Chinese, (although there are official ones, all about people don't use.)
but It has nonofficial intonation. The intonations make have different mean.
Therefore, same sentences have a variety of means.
For example, "±×·¡"'s simple mean is 'okay' or 'yes', questionable tone same 'really?', and strong accent is used in to suddenly make a good idea.
Korean has some dialect, the people leaved in south place don't like or feel shy when they hear standard language.
When I rode a subway in Busan which is most advanced city among south cites in Korea, I talked to my friend using a standard language, so some older people looked at me.
However, Korean is not more overly different between the dialects.
People who use dialect can converse with the people who use different dialect without problem.
