When I usually lost the direction, I ask to near person.
Therefore, I ask to nearest staff first.
If I find a market, I will entry it and ask direction.
If I’m alone this place, I will look for the sign or map of direction.
It is usually near entrée, so I return the gate which I went.
In other ways, I can search the map of airport through smart phone or I can call to help to airport office.
If I lost direction in anywhere, I use the ways, so I can solve the problem calmly.

2.
Usually, I’m slow to noise in home. If I can’t endure that, It is very serious.
First, I find the room of cause. If the noise’s running time is very short, I don’t think it is not important problem.
Second, after I found out the reason, I will call police office.
If the noise is constantly made, I can go to the room and I tell them directly like below.
“Your room is very loudly. Quite more please.”
If I can’t find out the room, I will send message to the building owner.

These are two very interesting questions. I also find your answers interesting and substantial.

For the first question, When you are lost in the airport, the air port staff or personnel may help you the best. You are right about this. If you get lost in the market, find a local in that place and assess if that person is honest. It may be good for you to ask a second person to confirm if person one is right. It is paramount to be calm and vigilant all the time.

Meanwhile, when the foreigner next door is noisy, first, consult your land lord or building owner. This is the standard operating procedure when you live in an apartment. If the noise becomes unbearable, then you can call the police.

Congratulations to your continuous hard work in trying to answer these questions to the best that you can. Stay inspired and keep pushing. I am here to help. ^^
