I will explain to my boss about my situation and why I can’t take on the work.
If my boss insist that I do it, I’ll ask him that it is okay to do it later. or If I am too busy to take on the extra task, I’ll recommend one of my colleague for the job. And I will tell him why I think my colleague is the best person for the job.

There are times when we cannot really do all that is asked of us. At that time, we need to be honest and reconsider our strengths. In the first place, tasks are given to us by the leader because he/she thinks we can do it. If we are overwhelmed then, we can ask other people's help, or as you suggested, we can ask help from others who can do the job well.
