When I was a medical student, I wanted to work in my main hospital, which is one of 5 biggest hospital in Korea. Since it has a good infrastructure and system, this hospital seems to be the best place to work. As an intern now, I still agree that this hospital is a good hospital and has a lot of advantages for training. However, there are too many patients in here, since it is one of leading tertiary medical institution. As a worker, working in such a large hospital is exhausting. Each doctor has to care too many patients in a short time. Moreover, my hospital is directly related to the medical college, thus the hospital requires all the professors to make excellent academic papers every year. Since most doctors are too busy to take care of the patients, it is really tight schedule to do medical treatment and research together. Thus, nowadays, my dream hospital is much relaxed hospital, which gives doctor enough time for research and adequate numbers of patients.
