I saw a lot of patients who got liver diseases due to the overuse or the misuse of health supplements. There are a lot of non-certified nutritional supplements. For example, some patients drink antler's juice or take some herbal medicine. No one can demonstrate the correct ingredients of those things, however, some people promote those as having great effects on strengthening one's health. I do not highly recommend such supplements of which ingredients are not disclosed. Those probably trigger liver injury since our body identify those things as toxic substances which need to be purified in the liver. Since liver is the most quiet organ, the injury of liver is not normally detected until the severity of the injury became considerable. Thus, taking unauthenticated health supplements can be really risky, which may lead one to the death in extreme cases.

We all need to be liver lovers because we do not want a liver transplant. I think that so many abuse their liver, kidneys, heart, among many other organs and regret when they start feeling pain within their bodies. Some of the body builders take excessive things to build their muscles which can be scary. I am not sure if they are unauthenticated.

Of course manufacturers of these supplements will never divulge harmful effects of their products so we need experts like you to tell us what we need to do about them. Thank you for your expertise! From now on, I will consider my liver when taking medical drugs or any other supplement aside from multivitamins.
