Which is better for communication, e-mail or handwritten letters?

Before I start, I can definitly assert writting e-mail is better than handwritten letters much. Because everyone recongnize the convinience of e-mail. Acturly, the convinience is the biggest adventage. However, it is enough to prove e-mail is better than handwritten letters.
Writting e-mail is more faster than handwritten letters for communication. If a pman want to talk with his friend who live far from my house, everyone would not suggest writting a handwritten letter. pytewritting and sending message just take a little time. How about writting handwritten letters? Buying a letter paper, writting the text, sending a letter by post office, etc. What about the other side's position? identification process and recieving letter, reading and answer of the letter. It is lots of prosedure to send 'a letter just for comunicating'.

Which is better an email or a handwritten letter? It all depends on the author's preference. If it is urgent that the information be sent, then an email would suffice. If the author wishes to be more personal, a handwritten letter would best fit. There are pros and cons to both forms of communication. However, it all comes down to the author's preference and needs.
A handwritten letter is seen as a more personal form of communication because the sender is personally taking the time out of their day to write a letter. Hand-written letters are not used as often as emails which also adds more value to them. Emails are more commonly used than letters. This is because emails can be sent and received within minutes. It is a much faster form of communication than a letter. Letters, although more personal, can take several days to be delivered to the sender.  The postal service does not deliver on Sundays except during major holidays when the demand for delivering packages is higher than normal. With emails, there is no need to worry about smudge marks but there is a concern for computer viruses, not to mention the price to buy and maintain a computer.
