Homework: Write about a typical Korean family

While it can be said that there are a lot more of different types of families emerging in today’s Korean society, it seems to be safe to say that a typical Korean family in many Koreans’ mind is still a four-membered family, with both female and male parents existing, sustained by one or both of them’s earnings. Also, even though it is an old stereotype that has to be changed, if both parents in this typical Korean family are working, a father will be earning more than a mother. The number of children in this type of family is ideally two, more ideally if it is a brother and a sister.
When I was younger, my family was one of the said typical Korean family - both my mother and father worked, and father’s celery was slightly higher than my mother’s. I am an older sister to my younger brother, so we were just the type. However, this changed after the years, though the change wasn’t significant seeing it from the outside.
