Body language is crucial because verbal action requires at least a few seconds to deliver one’s emotion while non-verbal action can do it in a second. When there are two people using different languages, you can think that they cannot communicate since they speak different languages. However, they can still communicate with each other using facial expression and gestures with hands and body. It is interesting that the usage of certain body languages often times deliver the quite similar meaning cross the countries. Sometimes body language even can portray the hidden meaning. You can think that a person is depressed by looking at his/her timid and anxious face. You may ask him/her whether something is wrong or not. The person replies that nothing is wrong and everything is going okay. In this case, her body language could be saying the truth while her verbal language helped him/her to pretend like everything is okay.
