People who are movie-lovers are looking for new, creative, interesting, and exciting movies. We might be tired of Hollywood movies because we get accustomed to the stories or the frame. We don’t expect new things from American movies, or we can predict how the stories will be said. For those reasons, people can enjoy Korean movies which have subtitles and are dubbed because they look for something new and unpredictable. I also would like to watch a variety of movies regardless of which country movies are from. Pandemic has also impacted this trend. People have to stay at home more than pre-pandemic and it is easy to spend time watching movies at home. Therefore, if the movies have subtitles or are dubbed, we will choose the movies to watch more often than otherwise.
