Saying thank you is very important. Saying thank you is basic manners. If someone gives you some things that you don't want, you have to thank you if that person gave you for good reasons.
Did you know why we rub our eyes when we are tired or sleepy? There is the scientific fact in it. When we are tired, hands and feet become warm. It's because our body saves our energy, so our bodies fall our body temperature. (I can't explain the more reasons in English.) Then, the tears in our bodies are decreased. So, we want to rub our eyes.
