I believe a good leader has a forward-thinking mindset and a roadmap for a team. A good leader should maintain a flexible attitude and try new ideas. Throughout the process, they need to consider internal factors such as employees¡¯ strengths and weaknesses and external factors such as industry trends. A strong leader also makes detailed explanations regarding any decisions to take the lead in decision-making procedures as a team. Giving clear guidelines about the actions keeps employees motivated. I have experience working for this leader as part of the Waseda School Festival Association. Even with 350 people, the leader managed the team efficiently by analyzing internal and external factors and providing transparent objectives. On the other hand, the poor leader has inefficient communication skills. Even with productive and efficient guidelines and expectations, it will be challenging for employees to follow if it entails insufficient explanations.
