“Collaborative mindset” and “dependability” are the skill-set I could utilize as a leader. First, the leader should maintain a team by managing people with a different perspective. Secondly, the leader should be trustworthy and backup team members with alternatives. As an emphatic listener with a solid sense of responsibility, I learned to manage a team by active communication and delegation. During my senior year, I did a presentation on the ASEAN banking structure. Since I was familiar with the topic due to my graduation thesis, I agreed to take the leader role. However, it was challenging to get team members together because many were doing job hunting. Accordingly, I came up with two ideas. Our team could save time by adopting skype and Google Docs for the meeting. We could also increase efficiency by dividing the tasks based on strength. For example, some members with good analytical skills did research. As a result, our team could get A+ in the final presentation.
