All students including me have been taught to put it to the lost and found office or police nearby. I made it although it is easier said than done.

One day I found a wallet on the subway platform on my way home. I picked it up and put it in the subway office with some information about when and where I found it. After getting out of the office, I felt good about myself for the first time in my life. It was the first practice that I had been taught to do when I found something lost in the school. I learned that it was thrilling to do good. Thereafter, I tried to do good for myself and others.

Speaking of something lost, an episode was brought back to me. I lost 200 dollars on the street years ago. Hoping to get it back, I went to nearby the lost and found office. I couldn't get it back. I hoped that something good I had done for someone else could be paid back by getting back my lost money. However, it didn't go my way. Probably, that's the way cookie crumbles.

Hey Steve!

Thank you for answering today's homework. I want you to know that I am extremely happy when my students answer the homework that I give.
Good job on narrating some related stories! I truly feel the same way, but it's very sad when the belongings I lost weren't returned to me.
For today, there weren't any corrections actually, so I was impressed. Keep it up! For some sentences, please observe that some words are more appropriate than the ones you chose. This is called "word choice".
For the first sentence, for example, since the destination is a station or an office, it is better to "bring" the item there, than just "put" them. You can use "put" if it is simply a lost and found box. For the second sentence, instead of made, we can use "did" because it was an action. You can use "make" if you crafted something, or when reaching a destination or a goal.

Overall, you did great! Capitalization and punctuations were used properly. You even used some impressive English expressions.
I look forward to the next homework you will submit.

Keep it up!
-Teacher Violet
