Dinosaurs were lived on the earth 250 million years ago. There were the most prosperous reptiles. An anatomist who is Richard Owen named them a dinosaur, in Greek terrible of dino and reptiles of sauros that's how it named in dinosaurs. Dinosaurs are classified with herbivores and carnivores example: Protoceratops, Triceratops are herbivores and Tyrannosaurus is carnivores. The most persuasive reason for extinction is that the huge meteorite crashed the earth and the explosion so all of the dinosaurs extinced in the world.
