Usually, people can be divided into two types when they are making a friend.
One is that they love to make a lot of friends, the other is that they prefer to get to know just a few close friends.

There is no answer but there are the pros and cons.

First of all, there are pros and cons of making a lot of friends.
The pros is we can experience many situations indirectly, when your many friends talk about their own life.
The cons is that it is not easy to share our secret or something which you want to hide to your friends.


Also, there are pros and cons of preferring to make a few close friends.
The pros is that it is easy to talk to their best friend about their innermost feelings.
The cons is that if your only best friend is busy and hard to hang out right now or on your vacation season, you could feel lonely easily. :-(

People who have a lot of friends, in particular, may find it challenging to keep up with their responsibilities. Maintaining a group of friends waters down your valuable social resources, making you less able to be a good friend. While a few friends who really appreciate you and have similar personalities will make our life easier. No drama or conflict in our inner circle.
