My answer to this question is ¡°The customer may be wrong. So the customer always should be respected, but also careful not to be rude, or wrong. ¡± I saw this catchphrase in the department store, or even in the headquarters of some company. However, this slogan doesn¡¯t consider workers called ¡°emotional workers¡± at all. A company or department should try to listen to their customers to provide the best service. But they mustn¡¯t force their employees to serve their customers as a slave did in ancient times. An Employee is a proud father or mother to some kids and a precious son or daughter to some parents. This precious dignity shouldn¡¯t be ignored just because they are in sales departments. I think this catchphrase might come from the greedy upper management to make more money, indifferent to how their employees were being treated by bad customers. No more power abuse in the business world. This wrong culture of customers¡¯ power abuse over weak employees should eliminated quickly.
