What do you usually do when you bought a defective product? Do you want it replaced or refunded?

Actually, I haven't bought a defective product that need to be replaced or refunded.

But if I bought a product that has a very big defect, I may request not refund but replace. Beacause I usually buy a product after much consideration and buy it when it is really needed. So I might not want refund.

In my mother's case, she usually buy some clothes through on-line. She let me buy her clothes. And she often request refund because the design, color or something is not her type. She pays freight charge both ways. And there is no problem to refund the product.

I agree with you because as you said, you wouldn't buy something if you don't really need it so might as well have it replaced than be refunded. However, for me, sometimes I have doubts already once I receive a defective product so in some instances, I would just ask for a refund and look for a different seller.
