When it comes to nation power about relation with other countries, as Korean culture gets more famous, the soft power is increasingly effective. People in many other countries can easily access to Korea with feeling familiarity, and the possibility of acceptance also will be great. For this reason, the tourism can be invigorated. As a result, it can help development of economy.
However, there are several disadvantages of the popularity of K-culture. The main problem is that China claim that our traditional cultures or foods like hanbok, kimchi and samgeatang belong to them. They speak plainly Korean cultures are originated from Chinese history even through the official media. So, it has dangerous that many people could believe it's true. Consequently, they can gain distorted acknowledge. Therefore, I think it is also important to know not just about how much popularity it has but also how it is spread rightly.

You are right! K-culture's popularity can help in terms of promoting Korean culture which helps make other countries accept them easily and leads to growth of the Korean economy.
