It depends on where you are or who you meet. No matter who you meet, there are some things in common to strike a good impression as the following.
1. You need to wear a well-ironed shirt or polished shoes. If you show up to a business meeting in a shirt with lots of crumples and wrinkles or scuffed shoes. you can't convey a good impression to business partners.
2. Too much makeup suited to a night out sets off alarm bells with those with you.
3. You need to show confidence and competence by keeping a good posture. you should stand up straight or head up, shoulders back and relaxed. Slumped shoulders and head bent won't come in handy at all.
4. You are careful not to put on cologne too much because some people feel migraine, allergic to or nausea. Imposing your fragrance on others is inconsiderate when you meet someone for the first time.
5. You are to show that you're attentive to others by keeping eye contact when others say to you. Lack of eye contact will get you wrong.
