Time is a gold in my working space. Especially for a purchasing department, the deliver time of raw material decides how many final goods and service we can produce. However it is going to be an enormous loss if the producer delays our estimated time of arrival because we could not communicate properly. It would be more serious situation if they loaded totally different order that my company could not sell to our customers. It is not only happening to the multinational firm but also, domestic business can be faced on the communication issue. For instance, I wrote on the purchasing order "I need 10EA sliding rails", but if the supplier understands that I need only one-sided pair of rail, then we are going to have responsibility for the communicating problem.
