There is a famous book name, "Silent spring". This is a book from Rachel Carson the famous activist that 'Times' chosen. Silent spring talks about many pestiside. For example, she mainly talk about DDT. Than she tell us the effect of pesticide to us. Well, the result is very horrible. According to her, Because of pesticide there was a family who had been in a huge trouble and also according to her, she implies that pesticide can kill many creatures like fish, and it will come back to us. The books whole story is pesticide. And why we should ban using pesticide. She's idea is that because of pesticide like DDT, It is giving us and animal massive damage so we should stop using pesticide. And we can know the meaning of the title. The title of this book is Silent Spring because spring is silent with all creatures death, While spring is the best time for animal to play.
