I think the best way to communicate with others effectively is having a conversation with them in person, using verbal and nonverbal skills. Because communicating through messenger can make the listeners have misunderstanding. Also, If you talk to them without any nonverbal things such as gestures, pitch, they will have a hard time to getting accurately what you said.
