Humanity has suffered from numerous infectious diseases.
There was the Black Death killed a third of Europe's population in the Middle Ages.
And COVID-19, which recently broke out, seems to be the first epidemic in modern times.
Fortunately, the vaccine was developed quickly and there was no disaster where many people died like in the past.
However, people who refuse to get vaccinated for various reasons have made it difficult for governments and ordinary citizens trying to prevent the spread of the epidemic.
I don't understand the psychological state of those people who prioritize their religious or political beliefs over modern medicine.
Even though freedom of religious and political beliefs as human beings should be respected,
Considering the nature of the epidemic, where a single person's infection can put countless people at risk, there should be no more tolerance for vaccine rejection.
