The effect of inflation could be different by the reason.
Recently, there was rapid inflation on Kakao bean's price index. The main reason was decreasing of producing of kakao bean, due to climate changes and deteriorating of the kakao trees in biggest country of production(Gana, Ivory coast). This situation caused chocolate manufacturer demanded increasing price of products to importer, and it reached to my company. At first, I didn't know that this circumstance was about not only price, but also supplyment stability. My boss guided me to secure the stock of relevant products ahead, and advise me to regard the inflation as long-term events. In this case, the inflation affect procurement work to seek the reason and take action for preventing worse happening.
