What do you think are the pros and cons of "cancel culture"?

These days, we living with have a various culture, opinion people and try to understand each others.
So, many sports stars and celebrities try to don't tell careless remarks and actions.
"Kanye west" is an example of the famous cancel culture.
He was make dangerous remarks.
So many companies and fans followed cancel culture to him.
And he did apologized for the dangerous remarks.
But, I think the Korea's cancel culture is strange.
It's because they do cancel culture for small reason and the others makes a too reproach.
Nowadays, we call it a internet(online) witch hunt.
In addition, if I give protective opinion, I'm also criticized.
I hope we have a culture where we respect each other.
