Well, but to be honest, I also felt pitied for people with disabilities and thought they were different from ordinary people.
But I don't think so now.
To tell you from my experience, I think school education is important.
School education changes the perception of people with disabilities.
I once did volunterr in a place where people with disabilities were present, as I volunteered, I felt that I was equal to ordinary people.
Furthermore, I realized that ordinary people like us can become people with disabilities due to accidental accidents or ohter reasons.
Since then, I have tried to help people with disabilities first and try not to focus on the special stories of people with disabilities.
Each person may have a special story, but if I focus on that story, I first felt pitied.
And many people have to remove all the bad prejudices about them.
It will be the easiest and most difficult, but the attempt to try will have to continue.

Rather than feeling sorry for them, it would be more beneficial to support and encourage them, showing them that even in their circumstances, there is a better world out there and that they are just like everyone else.
