I guess I went through this when I turned thirty; I was depressed and felt empty and unfulfilled. However, I soon understood that this possible crisis is only in our heads. Thus, it's critical to control our mental input. To avoid depression or feeling as though we are going through a crisis, we need to remain clear-headed and free of worries and negativity.

First of all, there can be many crisises in the midlife.

In Korea, there is a system called pension, but the money you receive every month may not be enough to do economic activities.

That may create a situation where you have to keep working and makes you feel deep depression.

Second, it's an emotional crisis.

The first crisis, the economic crisis, may lead to this.

When a situation arises where you don't work, it takes quite a lot of time to accept it, and sometimes you can't accept it.

You will compare yourself to others who are not economically active, you will have self-negative feelings, and you will perceive yourself as useless.
