Horror movies, like other movies, always seem to give a message.
When I watch horror movies, I think their main theme is revenge.
Horror movies usually have stories where the main character, who was wronged and went through a difficult time, later becomes very successful and takes revenge on the bad person who gave him a hard time, or even where the main character who died unfairly becomes a ghost and scolds the villain.
So, after watching a horror movie, people seem to think that they should do good things instead of bad things, and help people around them who are in need.

Alternatively, the story may involve the unjustly deceased protagonist returning as a vengeful ghost to confront the villain.
So, after watching a horror movie, people seem to think that they should do good things instead of bad things, and help people around them who are in need.
