There is a famous saying that modern home appliances have liberated women from their homes.
In the past, it was women's responsibility to cook meals, prepare side dishes, clean the house, and do laundry.
And in the past, women had to do these things by hand without the help of electronic devices, which took a huge amount of time.
So women did not have time to go out of the house.
However, now various home appliances are helping women with household chores.
The electric rice cooker cooks rice and the refrigerator keeps food fresh. Vacuum cleaners clean houses on behalf of women.
Likewise, washing machines save women the trouble of doing laundry.
Even recently, a drying function has been added to washing machines, so there is no need to hang laundry on a hanger to dry.
I think modern home appliances, including washing machines, have made women happier.
