In korea, doctor may be the wealthiest profession. From old times, the professions that has expertise have been well paid. And among those professions, lawyer, judge are also very well-paid. Consequently, the existence of expertise is a standard of income. (It depends on situation, of course.)

These people are high revered, too. Because doctor is the only profession that can judge someone's life and death. Also, they can cure people. In addtion, Only supersmart person can be a doctor. Because of rarity, many people have respected this profassion.

+ This is not deeply relevant to today's topic, but thesedays severe problem of korea medical system. The medical system of korea was almost perfect for quick, precise, and convenient system in thr past. But now, the large number of doctors of korea strike their work for their position. the government and the doctor still can't narrow the discrepancy between them.
