I've never traveled alone yet. Of course, I have wandered around the city which is close to my home. the standard of "close" is time needed for movement. Seoul is really small city. So I can go everywhere in Seoul alone.
But out of Seoul, Cities including Busan, Daegu are difficult for me to visit alone. Because these cities take about 3 hours by bullet train called KTX(one way), and this transport is really expensive. Hence, it's better to trip for 2 days at least. If I come back home within the day, what a waste of money! And if I trip for 2 days at least, I have to reservate the accommodation, and it is really expensive, too. When I travel with my friends, we can devide our room charge. But I have to pay all costs by myself. So, costs are the main reason why I don't go trip alone. And safety is second reason. there can be a dangerous situation if an woman wander at late night. It's not a main case, of course. However my parents worry about this, and me either.
