In Korea, Reading club is the most common organizations. It is not only just reading books but also discuss with the theme and Q&A about a book. The club is very normal. There was a club in a elementary, middle, high school, university, even a social. I think there are many people who read a book for duty because of refinement, knowledge. In case of those people, they usually read kinds of classical novel or economic book. On the other hand there are some people who really love to read. They read many kinds of book and also they join in a 'book talk' with author or reader.
