Immigration can help alleviate the labor shortage in some area, such as agriculture where young people don’t want to work any more. Now without foreign workers, many farms can’t work properly. Moreover, immigration can contribute to measures against the decrease of population. Immigrants are more likely to have more children than Korean young couples who are apt to focus on their lives then child raising. Lastly, immigrants can help Korea more international enough to attract foreign investment. which can end up improving our system to the world standard.
On the contrary, as you might have expected, immigration can bring about new challenges of social problems, such as xenophobia or racism among us. Nevertheless, I think immigration has more benefits than disadvantages.
