I always give an advice to my family, friends and my colleague rather than expressing sympathy with them.
I hope that someone could lessen worries and be in more better situation after I get advice to them.

Yesterday(December 28th), one of my friend want me to give an advice about her date. She got a date with funny guy at twice.
But she got worried whether she could develop romantic relationship with him because of her previous romance.

So I recommend that she should concentrate in present emotion(happy, funny, romantic, and so on) instead of worrying about the future that doesn't happen.
I think that this advice will be helpful for my friend to lessen her worry.

Giving some advice when solicited by our friends is one that we could freely since they trust us. However, we have to be very responsible about these advice as they may follow us blindly. 

With your advice, you gave your friend the freedom to just embrace the moment with less worries and take things as they come. It is true that we always worry about tomorrow that never came yet. So I am glad you gave that advice.

Below, you have just a few suggestions. Always remember to use pluralized verbs when you talk about them as general ideas in your sentence.
